Handling Questions During Your Presentation
If you allow for questions in your presentation, or even when you don’t, there might be some, be prepared. I have mentioned it before in this book: preparation is everything. Think of the questions that the audience might have and prepare the answers.
If someone asks a question in between that you will answer later in your presentation, make sure you acknowledge it, tell them you will answer it later, write it down somewhere and come back to it when appropriate. Check with them if you answered the question properly.
One really important thing: Handling questions with the same importance. ALL questions. Do not ridicule anyone by playing down the question. Every question is important. There are no silly questions. If something wasn’t clear enough and someone had to ask for clarification, that just means you should have been clearer.
